    Best customer service to fix Savage factory machining & poor QC

    Ordered the 10MOA rail with 8-40 screws. Screws went in with difficulty & came loose after 25 rds (6.5CM). Took off base and bottom of screws were stripped. Called Murphy Precision and they said run an 8-40 tap through screws holes as Savage undercut threads because of poor QC. Offered to ship replacement screws free but had already ordered a set. Tapped the screws and everything works fine 70 rds later.
