About Our Company

Murphy Precision is a small family run business located in Southern California. It was founded in 1998 by John Murphy and me, his son Cameron. We have both been involved in shooting sports, particularly long range target shooting, for nearly twenty years.

Initially, most of our work centered around custom design and fabrication of industrial automation equipment for the the fruit packing industry. This has allowed us to build a full function machine and fabrication shop, which we have used to build and accurize a large variety of our own target rifles and handguns. After the acquisition of a state-of-the-art CNC machining center, we have begun small scale manufacturing of our own line of precision rifle parts and accessories. We know that quality counts, that's why we put our name on every part.
